Our policy is to close when school is closed do to the weather.  Connie stated she would be able to be here if the board wanted to have the library open if the weather wasn’t too bad.  A motion made by Don that the Librarian can use her own discretion when to open the library in inclement weather.  Nancy seconded the motion and it carried.

Unfinished Business
The county librarians attended the county supervisors meeting December 22nd and requested $12,000 for next year from the county.
At this time the carpet schedule is:  May 4, 5, 6 Debbie Haberkorn and 8-10 students will come and help us move the books out.  May 6-8 carpet out, May 10-12 paint, May 13, 14, 17 carpet in, May 18-21 shelves and books back in.  We decided on a blue carpet with shades of other colors.  It is called Turbo #00401 and the cost is $11.50 a yard.  We will do the steps and landing with the same carpet that is in the basement.  Linda made the motion, Don seconded.  Motion carried.
Schaap Moving Co. hasn’t given us a bid for the cost to remove the shelves as yet.

New Business
