Use a Computer

The library has public computers with Internet access. This section gives information on computer use by patrons.
  • The library has five public access computers.
  • Various software programs are loaded on different computers. Three have Microsoft Office, and two also have Magic School Bus games for children. The other two have Open Office, an open source software suite similar to Microsoft Office. All have high-speed internet access.
  • computersComputer use is limited to one hour if others are waiting for an open computer.
  • Approved users must read and accept the internet safety and use policy; must sign in and out at the circulation desk; and must be computer literate.  Those using computers for non-internet purposes do not need to sign in or sign the internet use policy.
  • Internet access at the library is not filtered.
  • Children must be age 10 or above to use the computers unsupervised. 
  • A parent or guardian signature is required on internet use permission forms for children under the age of 18.
